Formic rounded out its summer tradeshow season at Automate in Detroit, Michigan, this week, where attendees stopped by our booth for live robot demos and to learn how easy automation can be with Formic.
But this show wasn’t just about demos, we also marked a major milestone: Formic has officially surpassed 300,000 robot production hours.
When we launched in 2020, it took more than two and a half years to reach our first 50,000 hours. Since then, each milestone has come faster than the last. At our current pace, we’re on track to hit 500,000 hours by the end of 2025.
This growth isn’t just about numbers — it’s about impact. Every hour represents work made easier, lines running smoother, and manufacturers thriving. It’s a testament to the power of Full Service Automation and validation that manufacturers want automation without complexity. That’s exactly what Formic delivers.
Automate attendees were the first to hear the news, and we celebrated in style, complete with “300” balloons at our booth.
