This week, Formic showcased our accessible automation solutions at the Food Northwest Process & Packaging Expo in Portland, Oregon. Attendees stopped by our booth to learn about our Automate NOW palletizers — the easiest and fastest way to automate end-of-line stacking operations.
If you visited Formic’s booth, you saw one of our Automate NOW robotic palletizers in action. Plus, we had Formic customer products on display. From Garrett’s Popcorn to Cameron’s Coffee to Connie’s Pizza, we’ve deployed Formic systems in over 100 facilities across the U.S.
At Food Northwest, the Formic team chatted with many fresh produce manufacturers interested in deploying automation for the first time. Oregon, known for its berries, hazelnuts, grass seed, and other fresh produce, ships $2 billion worth of agricultural products annually. With such a high quantity, it can be hard for manufacturers to keep up — especially with ongoing labor gaps in the manufacturing sector. And it's not getting any eaiser.
Amid recent tariff hikes, manufacturers across product segments have a heightened interest in automation due to labor cost pressures, supply chain disruptions, and speed or efficiency needs. Luckily, Formic’s Full Service Automation doesn’t require CapEx or internal expertise. Plus, it’s quickly deployable and remains a flexible solution with unlimited equipment swapping.
If you missed us at Food Northwest, we hope to see you at SNAXPO in Orlando, Florida on March 30!
